Carrawobitty Rural Retreat is a grand two story concrete homestead with unique architectural style built in 1926. We are situated 13km from the township of Forbes in the Central West of New South Wales. The recently renovated homestead is nestled in 5 acres of country gardens on the bank of Carrawabitty Creek.
We can host events for up to 150 people and our versatile modern function rooms can cater for a wide range of business events, with breakout rooms for small meetings and a main lounge that can cater for up to 50 guests theatre style. Special outdoor events can be held in our spacious gardens.
State of the art audio visual equipment is available ranging from a wide format projection screens, LED screens, data projectors, the latest sound systems and WiFi coverage throughout the building and the surrounding gardens. We also offer modern office equipment such as printers, scanners and email facilities. Our onsite technician will ensure a smooth, seamless experience for your event.
We have accommodation for up to 18 guests, with 4 accommodation rooms with ensuite bathrooms; 4 rooms with two shared bathrooms on the first floor; and a disabled accessible room with ensuite on the ground floor. The house is furnished with period furniture to take our guests back in time to a relaxed bygone era.
