The Hip Replacements are a feel-good, mostly acoustic band who put their own spin on the songs of our lives. Music for people of a . . . certain age. They formed around 2013 and that core line-up of Gavan Wickes, Jon Wilby & Genni Kane are still playing together today, with the addition of Christian Pruziak on bass in 2017.

The Hip Replacements are friends from Millthorpe (Central West NSW) and prefer to play gigs that they can walk to. They specialise in private and corporate functions, and the occasional pub. They have recently started venturing out to Orange and Bathurst and beyond.  Ahh . . . life on the road!

Collectively they have well over a century of experience playing live music, so sometimes they need to sit down. Drawing on the great music of the 60's, 70's, 80's and beyond, they put their own spin on your favourite songs . . . and even some that you may not be so keen on! They will always have a go at any request - so it's best to be careful what you wish for.
