About The Murwillumbah Citadel

The Murwillumbah Citadel is a heritage listed ex Salvation Army building now renovated as a visual and performing arts venue. It is located in the centre of Murwillumbah. The Citadel's main business is to support local and travelling artists however it is available to hire for meetings, debates, book launches, theatre, speeches etc.

The main space, the hall is primarily set up with cabaret style seating-high bar tables and low tables. The licenced bar supports all activities in the hall. The venue is all ages however it is most suitable to a mature audience. The ground floor of The Citadel is fully accessible with wheelchair access and a wheelchair accessible toilet.
