State's Visitor Economy primed to drive future demand

Minister for Jobs, Investment, Tourism and Western Sydney Stuart Ayres has announced that more than 280 tourism organisations will share in $9.5 million of NSW government funding, aimed to create jobs, enhance the visitor experience, promote NSW regions as ‘must-visit’ destinations, and stimulate new business event activity.

NSW Tourism Gets a $6.5 Million Boost

The New South Wales visitor economy will get a boost through two new industry support and marketing programs. Applications are open for the $5.5 million Business Events Industry Support package and $1 million Tourism Industry Marketing Support package through the NSW Government’s tourism and major events agency Destination NSW and Sydney’s business events bidding specialists BESydney.
