About Casino Mini Railway & Museum

Supplier Type:
Teambuilding Activities and Tours

The Casino Mini Railway & Museum is run totally by volunteers for the enjoyment of all train enthusiasts, and for those who wish to know more about railways, particularly the railway in the Casino area.  The Casino township is known as the "Beef Capital of Australia" and the mini railway is ranked as one of the towns major attractions.

The railway track is a dual gauge line consisting 7¼ & 5 inch gauges & is the largest dual gauge track in New South Wales, the second largest in Australia.

A round trip on our mini rail is around 30 minutes, at a cost of $5 per person, where we take you between our Jabiru Geneebeinga wetlands, the beautifully manicured lawns and area of the Casino Golf Club, providing opportunities to view our beautiful local flora and fauna. At the half way mark you may disembark the train to explore our heritage listed "old casino" station, which also houses our Railway Museum.
